My Godson, T-bone, is turning the big 4 on Wednesday. And he insists on a Batman-themed party. He was Batman for Halloween and his love for the superhero has not diminished. His mom, S, and I are still trying to figure out how he got into the Bat craze in the first place. It’s not like he’s ever seen a Batman movie and he’s waaaaay to young to have seen the corny show. It’s a mystery, really.
Do you know how difficult it is to find Batman stuff these days? Very challenging to say the least. The hot superhero of the moment is Spiderman. The boys’ toy aisles are inundated with Spiderman junk. Spiderman this, Spiderman that… Spiderman stuff practically fall into your cart on its own. S was able to locate some Batman plates, napkins, etc. at a local party supply store though.
This year, S, has decided to have T-bone’s party at a super fun place called Pump-It-Up. It’s an indoor bouncy house fun park. I took Wildman several times last year for their open play hours. It’s fun for adults too. So, J and I are looking forward to Wednesday evening as well! I can’t wait to see T-bone’s grandparents jumping around on the obstacle course š Hopefully they remember to bring their nitro tablets…
To commemorate the event, I decided to create a two-page layout for T-bone’s party pictures. I was actually able to find Batman stickers. Woo hoo! Here’s what I came up with:
