The Underwoods are members of the church where Wildman attends preschool. Each year they graciously open their home and property to the children for a picnic. As owners of Aqua Blue Pools and Spas, the Underwoods have done very well for themselves over the years. They own many, many acres of land with creeks, trails, a barn, chicken coops and several houses. It’s the perfect place to host a preschool picnic. The kids could run free out in the country with reckless abandon.

Wildman got to pet a pot-bellied pig…
and ride a pony named Chubby…
and pet a rabbit…
and “drive” a truck…
and check out a jeep…
and tour a barn!
We also piled into a trailer and took a hayride! We got a firsthand look at natural Florida. Nature was so close, it smacked a few moms in the face 🙂 (some branches needed to be trimmed back). It was really cool to zoom through the woods and bounce along the trails. The kids loved it!

The pony looks suicidal. Mr. Underwood looks like he’d sooner debone you than look at you. It does look like a great day though. See any gators?

Holy cow!! That’s a pig? This looks like such a fun day! How nice of those people to open up their property and animals to a community.
