But He Was Still Hungry…

We made a caterpillar pizza for dinner this evening! J is working late again tonight so the kids and I were on our own for dinner. I didn’t feel like making any of my standby recipes so I let Wildman cook. He had so much fun and felt so proud of himself πŸ™‚

We began by reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle:

We used veggies to make the face:

Saucing:

Cooking is such a great teaching tool for preschoolers. I love the confidence and creativity it inspires too. Next time we bake I think I’ll try SAJ’s watermelon cookies!
