Our local McDonald’s employee informed me this afternoon that their Premium Asian Salad will be leaving the menu. *sob* I love the Premium Asian Salad at McDonald’s. What shall I order now?!

I am perked up by the fact that the in-laws will be coming over to sit with the kids tough. Yipeeeeeee for date night! I guess I’m not as torn up about the salad as I had originally thought…
We’re going to try our local Mediterranean restaurant, Skewers. This restaurant has been in business for 20 years and I’ve never been. I hear the food is fabulous but the service is iffy. I’m curious to try something different- stuffed grape leaves or, perhaps, some baba ghanouj? Their gyros are supposed to be most excellent. I’m getting hungry just thinking about this place 🙂 Maybe we can even sneak in a movie afterwards. I’m thinking Tropic Thunder despite it’s offensiveness…
