Reflections on Laundry

Today’s self-portrait comes to you from my laundry room.  My washer is the perfect place to set up my camera for a head shot using the self-timer.  I tried several takes this afternoon but none were to my liking.  As I was setting up another shot I noticed my reflection in my washer’s glass door.  It was a perfect photo op!  I turned off the flash and snapped this photo.

Day 3 Self-Portrait

You’ll notice Wildman’s artwork hanging on the wall above my head.  That little wire and sliding clip system from Ikea is an awesome way to display his preschool projects.  It’s actually supposed to be used as a window valance but I use it for clipping up Wildman’s treasures.  It’s a much better use for it I think!

P.S. Wildman’s teacher laughed when she saw our family portrait.  She thought it was so cute but didn’t realize that it would be such a difficult project for everyone.  Apparently a lot of parents are in my situation!  🙂  Glad I’m not alone.
