Valentine’s Day Craft: Candy iPods

You Rock!

This is my homemade Valentine gift for 2009.  I made these adorable candy iPods for some friends as well as for the children in Wildman’s preschool class.   The idea came from here.   They were super easy to make.  Thank goodness because I was sick as could be last week.  After the boys went to bed I was able to assemble the candy iPods and package them up in clear plastic bags with some Valentine stampers.  With minimal effort, I was able to make some really memorable gifts.

Supplies for one iPod:

Tape
Glue Stick
2 Reese’s peanut butter cups
1 (1 oz.) box of conversation hearts
2 pieces of ribbon
4 in. by 7 in. strip of construction paper
printable iPod graphics
aluminum foil

I’m Well Again!

Ugh, last week I was struck down with a nasty cold turned sinus infection. From Monday to Friday, I was one sick person. Luckily, I’m related to an RN who took pity on me and brought me some antibiotics on Friday night. I’m feeling so much better!

I have so much to catch you up on including one of the cutest Valentine’s Day crafts ever! But there’s no time right now. I’m taking the boys to the new Wetlands exhibit at the zoo since Wildman is off for President’s Day. I promise plenty of fun reading shortly 🙂

Have a great day!
