Fun Hammering Activity

This is the best kind of entertainment: fun, cheap and easy.

Back when my boys were in Labschool they would occasionally do this hammering activity to increase proprioceptive input.  I was looking for some fun things for the boys to do on Sunday (besides swimming for the 1000th time this summer) and remembered that we had all of the materials to hammer away for a at least half an hour.

Materials:

Sturdy packing foam (I got ours from the box our new printer came in)

Toy hammers (from tool kits the kids already had)

Wooden golf tees (on sale at Wal-mart for $1)

Cute idea, but even just imagining the sound of the foam gave me chills!

That is such a good idea. I love that you used golf tees.
