One of the little girls in Wildman’s kindergarten class (2nd from the left) was in a junior civic theater production on Friday. Her mother sent out an e-mail invite earlier in the week. Since J was working late, I decided to take the boys up to the civic center to support Wildman’s friend. The performance was incredibly cute with awkward pauses, botched lines, and a bit of stage fright. It was everything you’d expect of first time actors. We just loved it! They were all so brave and tried so hard.
At the end of the play, when the applause had stopped, Wildman said that he could clap for another minute because he thought his friend did such a great job. Melt my heart!!! I love that kid of mine!
