Yesterday we piled the boys in the truck and headed over to Lowe’s to pick out our 2011 family Christmas tree. Even though the tree tent was packed full of firs, it did not take us long to find “the one”. J, I should say, found “the one”. Usually, it’s a pretty involved process of checking and double checking the trees. Not this year though! Yeah for good trees!
Sunday was spent de-thanksgiving our home and making it ready for the Christmas season. The lights are up, the Christmas decor is out, the tree is partially decorated. I finally had to call it quits at 9:15 PM last night when exhaustion set in.
I have pictures of us decorating the tree but have not had time to retrieve them from the camera. Cutie Pie is home sick with an ear infection and I’m trying to get myself packed for a girls’ trip to NYC. Geeg and Dr. Cindita are meeting me. I’m so excited! It’s my first time in NYC and it will be Christmastime as well! Looking forward to a magical trip especially since we’ll be present for the Rockefeller tree lighting. I’ll be sure to take plenty of pictures so I can report back on how beautiful it was!
