Cutie Pie wanted an Angry Birds cake for his birthday just like Wildman. J did not want to order the exact same cake from Publix, however. He wanted something a little more special… Something a little more 3D for Cutie Pie since he is the Angry Birds champion of our household. Seriously, I’ve never seen the game played with more accuracy or more nonchalance than when I’ve watched Cutie Pie play. It’s pretty amazing.
So, J set forth on an Angry Birds cake topper quest. I had no clue about this until a little white box showed up on our doorstep. The box was full of individually wrapped things. When I asked J what was in the box, he excitedly reported that they were Cutie Pie’s Angry Birds!
These things are handmade from fondant and are probably the most spectacular cake toppers I’ve ever seen! The detail is unreal! J’s mom kindly made the green iced chocolate cake. It tasted so good!
We convinced the kids not to eat them so that we may reuse them on future cakes. They’re too pretty to eat!

Those are awesome! I was just wondering tonight about what kind of birthday my kids would want this year. I think an Angry Birds birthday party will definitely be on the agenda. That cake is awesome.
