Beach Fishing

Our ridiculously mild winter carries on here in Florida and as a result, the beach fishing has been great!   We brought the poles down to the beach a couple of times last weekend and ended up with a few keepers- 2 whiting and 2 sheepshead.  The guys caught a bunch of tiny jacks that we released.  Big Red managed to reel in a sting ray.  We even ordered pizza one night for dinner from the only local place that is willing to deliver to a beach access.  I love living here!

Boo at the Zoo 2011

Big Red invited us up to check out his 2011 Boo at the Zoo display on Saturday night.  We took his boys up with us since they hadn’t seen it yet either.

I have to say the fire pit was a nice addition and will hopefully lead to some new business for him.

Of course the boys ended up with gobs of candy from trick-or-treating around the zoo.  I might just have to pay some of it forward on the 31st when kids come to our door 🙂
