Another great thing to come out of the Superbowl party we attended last weekend, besides visiting with our friends and admiring the artwork, was this amazing recipe! Behold! It’s manly, it’s yummy and, oh, so unhealthy!!!
HOT WING CHICKEN DIP
3 chicken breasts–boneless skinless
1/2 bottle Franks RedHot Sauce
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 pkg large cream cheese; or more, if desire
1/4 cup Ranch Dressing
Package of mozzarella cheese shreds – 2 cups
Saute the chicken breasts for 15 minutes in olive oil with spices of choice – Drain on paper towel
Shred the chicken–You can use a little mini food processor, works great, but I just use a fork and a knife.
Place the shredded chicken in a bowl and mix with the heated butter and hot sauce; then add 1/2 of the ranch dressing to mixture.
You can add more or less butter to make it less or more hot, respectively.
Spread the cream cheese on the bottom of a 2 qt baking dish; next spread the remaining half of the ranch dressing over the cream cheese
Next, Add 1/2 or less of the mozzarella cheese once again spreading over the cream cheese and ranch dressing
Pour chicken mixture on top – spreading evenly,
(This dish can be made the day before and placed in the Refrigerator) Cover if you do.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes; then add remaining mozzarella (you can use more or less or no mozzarella depending on how much cheese you like)
Bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes until cheese bubbles. You are now ready to serve.
Serve with pita bread, melba toast, crackers or chips. Enjoy!
I cannot wait to try this one out for myself! J could not get enough of it.
