On Tuesday morning, the boys and I took advantage of the Rave’s free summer kids’ movies by driving over to see Space Chimps. I was a little apprehensive about taking the two boys to a movie by myself but it went surprisingly well. They sat there munching their popcorn kid packs and sipping their Sprites. Wildman and Cutie Pie made it through the entire film without an incident (read: meltdown, kicking seats, running up and down the aisles, running up and down the stairs, getting hurt, crying, etc.)
Afterward, Wildman climbed aboard the bronze snail statue on the lawn in front of the theater.
And they both dropped a couple of pennies in the fountain.
It was a very nice morning spent with my sons. We went home and made a special muffin cup lunch. I filled the cups with peanut butter graham crackers, yogurt, blueberries, Mickey cheese, carrots and ranch dip. The boys ate their meal together in the living room at Cutie Pie’s sports table. So cute!
