Skateboarding 101

Cutie Pie kept J company while he worked on his truck yesterday afternoon.  Cutie Pie quickly tired of riding his tricycle and scooter on the sidewalk.  He somehow managed to find J’s old skateboard in the garage and decided to take it for a spin.

So adorable  I can’t hardly stand it!

I didn’t mind that he wasn’t wearing his helmet and pads since he was lying down on the board 🙂

Saturday Morning Shred

What do you do when the swimming pool has been cleaned and drained in preparation for installing the finish?

Personally, I admire how good it looks and try to visualize myself floating in the pristine blue water with an umbrella drink in my hand.  I’ve got the pina colada mix waiting in the freezer.

J, on the other hand, decides to bust out his skateboard…

“I’ve been waiting for this!!!” he exclaimed as ran into the garage to unearth his board.

The boys were naturally in awe watching dad recapture his youth go.

Look!  The pool deck has pavers!  That project is finally complete!  We should be swimming on Wednesday if all goes according to plan.  Yahoo!

Wildman finally asked for a turn.
