Love Stinks

Had to share Cutie Pie’s adorable Valentine’s shirt from yesterday 🙂  I randomly happened upon it at Target last week.  Cutie Pie’s been wearing it everyday since I brought it home…  Don’t worry though, I washed it for him to wear to school on Monday!

Sending Out Some Love

Happy Valentine’s Day to one and all!

The kids and I are without J today (another bidness trip…) but that is not going to stop us from spreading some love around.

I bought some more of those cute “Live, Laugh, Love” vases to give to Wildman’s teacher and all of the teachers at Cutie Pie’s preschool.  As you can see, I tied a bit of Valentine ribbon on the neck of each one and placed a cheerful gerbera daisy inside. Cute, no?

We’ve made reused glass jar tea light lanterns before but when I saw these cute ones I decided that we needed those at our house too!  Such a simple craft for brightening up a lonely night.

Hope your special Valentine spoils you today!

Be Mine

Last night Wildman and I worked on Valentines for his classmates.  He chose a package of Spongebob cards this year.  His teacher sent home a sheet of the names of his friends.  Wildman had to cut out each name and glue it onto his Valentine then sign his name and put a sticker on it.  It was a tidy little process that took us less than half an hour to complete.

This year I decided to make some test tubes for the boys’ classmates.  This is a picture of the work in progress.  I’m still working on creating the tags and tying them onto the tubes.  I found the test tubes here.  They are really cute!  I like that they have a screw cap and a little pop-up loop on top perfect for attaching a tag.  As you can see, I’ve filled each one with Valentine candy corn.

It’s a regular love fest around here!
